جامعات الجيل الخامس المرتكزة على الأنظمة الذكية ودورها في استقطاب فئات المتعلمين

This work paper aims to examine the concept of fifth-generation universities based on smart systems and their role in attracting diverse learners. It reviews the distinctive characteristics of these universities, including the use of artificial intelligence, big data analysis, blended learning, and alignment with future job requirements, in addition to international cooperation and learning quality. The work paper also demonstrates how smart systems contribute to providing personalized and flexible education that promotes inclusivity and equal opportunity. The working paper employs a descriptive-analytical approach and an analysis of previous literature and studies, highlighting the challenges facing the implementation of this model in Arab learning environments. The results concluded that adopting fifth-generation universities represents a fundamental shift towards a more integrated educational system capable of adapting to the changing times. The establishment of these universities requires major challenges in the infrastructure related to the nature of the buildings, smart laboratories and laboratories, data transmission cables, servers, devices, management systems, electronic records, electronic achievement files, communication and publishing systems, and websites that facilitate learning mechanisms, content transfer, dissemination, and sharing. This is in addition to open curricula that raise learning to the level of adaptive learning. This is likely to generate significant levels of satisfaction and acceptance among applicants and prospective students.
