The impact of employing the “Reading Progress” tool based on artificial intelligence analyzes via the Microsoft Teams platform on developing reading skills among primary school students

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of employing the Reading Progress “RP” tool، based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) analytics، via the M-Teams platform، on developing reading skills among primary school students. the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach based on the design of equal groups، the study sample consisted of (32) students، was randomly distributed into two equal groups، one of which is the experimental group، which is taught using “RP” tool based on AI analyzes via the M-Teams platform by (16)، the other is the control group، which is taught in the traditional way by (16)، the study relied on the training treatment material، which is a tool for “RP”، in addition to the observation card for reading skills as the main tool for the study، study found that there are statistically significant differences. Between pre- and post-measurement in the experimental group to test the effect of employing، “RP” tool based on AI analyzes via the M-Teams platform on developing reading skills. In light of the previous results، the study recommended providing training، guidance to teachers، educators on how to use، employ reading advancement tools based on AI analyzes to develop students’ reading skills، to enhance، motivate teachers، both male، female، to employ technology، educational techniques in enhancing reading skills. The study reached many recommendations and proposals related to the topics and variables of the study, which would increase the functional impact of AI applications and tools in the educational process, develop the field of teaching, learning technologies
